Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Donation Attendant at our Hampstead Store in Maryland. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience, promoting sales, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.
Key Responsibilities- Accept and process donations from customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor
- Offer receipts to donors and ensure accurate documentation
- Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing disposal information to customers
- Assist with sales ticketing and signage for large items
- Provide exceptional customer service, including loading and unloading furniture or other items
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to PPM standards
- Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety rules
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class
- Proficient in English language, reading and speaking
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check and drug screen (where applicable)
