We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Relationship Banker LP to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a key member of our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Product and Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to offer a range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services to customers, based on their needs.
  • Tactical Business Challenges: Analyze and address tactical business challenges related to full-service banking experience for emerging affluent and high-value customers.
  • Account Management: Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide information to internal partners and external sources to enhance the customer experience, and partner with financial advisors to understand customer needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Assessment and Resolution: 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Relationship Building: 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • State Insurance License: State Insurance license(s) are required for this role and must be completed within a specified period.
  • Customer Service Focus: Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems.
  • Relationship Management: Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge and understanding of book of business processes to actively manage a group of Wells Fargo customers to meet their needs and grow the business.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations, and high motivation with ability to successfully meet team objectives while maintaining individual performance.
