About the Role:

Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Dental Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients to the office by name and provide a personal introduction
  • Educate patients on the completion of patient intake forms
  • Confirm, update, and verify patient demographic and clinically necessary information
  • Obtain and update patient insurance information
  • Educate patients on the next steps and perform patient hand-off to the Dental Assistant or clinician
  • Monitor patients' waiting times and take appropriate action to resolve patient flow issues
  • Partner with the office team to ensure patients' visits exceed expectations
  • Update treatment plan information in the company system at the direction of the treating Doctor
  • Collect and post patient payments
  • Monitor computer system for late patient arrivals and missed appointments
  • Follow-up with patients to confirm arrival or reschedule for the same day or next available appointment
  • Perform general office duties, including mail distribution, filing, and pulling of patient charts

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications, as well as company operational systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, talk, stand, and update information in computer systems
