Position SummaryThe Battery Technician will be tasked with the crucial responsibilities of testing, charging, and maintaining Aircraft Lead Acid and Ni-Cad Batteries in compliance with established specifications. This role also involves meticulous record-keeping in alignment with the standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Transport Canada (TCCA).
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary duties will include:
- Utilizing various types of electrical measurement tools, such as multimeters, safely and effectively.
- Employing different charging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Implementing various electrical measuring techniques to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of relevant Trade School programs.
- A minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience, with detailed apprenticeship or trade school certification considered in lieu of experience.
- Your application will be handled with confidentiality in accordance with EEO guidelines.
- Candidates must be authorized and eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
