SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Battery Technician to become a vital part of our client's expanding workforce.

Position Summary

The Battery Technician will be tasked with the crucial responsibilities of testing, charging, and maintaining Aircraft Lead Acid and Ni-Cad Batteries in compliance with established specifications. This role also involves meticulous record-keeping in alignment with the standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Transport Canada (TCCA).

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Utilizing various types of electrical measurement tools, such as multimeters, safely and effectively.
  • Employing different charging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Implementing various electrical measuring techniques to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of relevant Trade School programs.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience, with detailed apprenticeship or trade school certification considered in lieu of experience.
