Qualifications:
- Experience: Candidates should be current EPL Shift Leaders or possess 2-4 years of supervisory experience, ideally in a restaurant setting. Familiarity with Point-Of-Sale systems is preferred.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Competencies: Basic math and computer skills, along with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Driving Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for company-related tasks.
- Food Safety Certification: Must possess a Serve Safe Certificate upon hire or obtain one and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class, if applicable.
Job Details:
- Work Schedule: Full-time position with varying shifts, including opening, mid-day, and closing hours. Note that our restaurants do not operate 24 hours.
- Career Growth: We prioritize internal promotions, allowing you to advance from Assistant Manager to roles such as General Manager, Area Leader, Director of Operations, and beyond.
- Uniform: EPL-branded shirt will be provided; black slacks and non-slip shoes are required.
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Overseeing assigned shifts and providing leadership to crew members in the absence of the General Manager.
- Training and mentoring crew members.
- Completing administrative duties, including financial and inventory management, scheduling, and maintenance logging.
- Creating and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Ensuring adherence to all security, food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintaining cost controls and contributing to sales and profit objectives.
- Developing your skills and utilizing available resources to prepare for future roles as a General Manager.
