Academic Clinician or Research Investigator

Baystate Health, a leading healthcare provider in western Massachusetts, is seeking a highly qualified academic clinician or research investigator to join its faculty in the Division of Health and Behavior within the Department of Healthcare Delivery and Population Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a strong research portfolio and engage in grant writing and publication activities as a principal investigator with independent peer-reviewed funding.
- Develop a forward-looking research agenda and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of scientists, data analysts, and research support staff.
- Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art methods in comparative effectiveness research and implementation science to transform healthcare.
- Engage in community-engaged research and health disparities initiatives to advance Baystate's mission of better health for the communities it serves.
- MD or PhD in a health-related field with a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning.
- Broad research interests in behavioral or translational sciences, community-engaged research, implementation science, and health disparities.
- Credentials supportive of an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
- Demonstrated scholarly record of research with high-impact peer-reviewed publications.
- Potential for securing funding from federal agencies.
