Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images
- Respond to emergencies and document/report incidents as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to infection control protocols
- Organize daily work schedules and assist in inventory management and supply orders
- Communicate effectively with reception staff to minimize patient wait times
- Report equipment malfunctions to the Director and initiate/document service calls
- Supervise and document quality control and assurance activities
- Transport patients as needed
- Provide on-call coverage and work various shifts as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
- Registered or registry eligible in Abdomen, Physics, or Cardiac Sonography
- Preferred proficiency in carotid artery scanning
