**Job Title:** Sterilization Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective sterilization and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement labware use schedules based on production requirements.
  • Run autoclaves according to labware use schedules and customer specifications.
  • Monitor the rotation, disposal, and replacement of plastic laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain daily detergent and disinfectant solutions.
  • Train and direct lab technicians in cleaning and sterilization procedures.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of autoclaves and other equipment.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment logs and perform general housekeeping duties.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
