Payroll Administrator Job Description

Findlay Automotive Group Careers is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll data, including hours worked, taxes, and employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans.
  • Update master payroll records, verifying and recording changes affecting net wages, such as federal and state tax exemptions, insurance coverage, and compensation increases.
  • Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with the office manager to process employee insurance forms and payments.
  • Reconcile monthly insurance payments versus billing.
  • Audit pay plans, job descriptions, I-9s, and other relevant documents.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of payroll experience.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn company software.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
