Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join their team of medical professionals. As a Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care and assist with various medical procedures in a Catheterization Laboratory setting.
- Work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient procedure execution.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiography and fluoroscopy systems.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Assist with angioplasty, arterial line insertion, and other procedures as needed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient data, including vital signs and procedure outcomes.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- General procedures experience, including:
- Angiography.
- Angioplasty.
- Arterial line insertion.
- Coronary angioplasty.
- CTO.
- Intra-aortic balloon.
- Impella.
- Intravascular ultrasound.
- Pan table.
- Stent placement.
- Thrombolysis.
- Venography.
- Wave wire.
- Hemodynamic and other calculations.
- Right and left heart catheterization.
- Structural heart procedures.
- Vascular interventional procedures (contrast administration, emergency procedures, peripheral, thoracic, PE).
- EP studies (preferred).
