Job Overview

At whiteSpace, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, test, and release software functionality.
  • Work closely with clients to elicit and clarify application requirements.
  • Participate in daily team activities and ceremonies, including Agile planning and execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and client-specific domains.
  • Lead Agile technical delivery activities and provide peer-level mentorship.
  • Contribute to the operationalization, monitoring, and maintenance of distributed systems.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming using Java.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Cloud-Native Architecture.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, collaborating with designers, business analysts, back-end developers, and others.
  • Willingness to learn new languages and techniques, and obtain certifications.
  • An active Public Trust Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Container and Serverless technologies.
  • Experience with Agile practices such as Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, and Pair Programming.
  • Familiarity with functional testing using tools such as Cypress and Test Cafe.

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000.
