The Laundry Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial laundry equipment and systems at Surfside Laundry in Panama City Beach, FL. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a daily preventative maintenance and sanitation schedule to ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Repair and troubleshoot complex industrial laundry equipment and systems, including electrical and plumbing components.
  • Conduct regular system operations checks to identify and resolve malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including technical manuals and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on industrial laundry equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, including OSHA and LOTO regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to hot and humid conditions.
  • Regularly lift and move heavy equipment, and may work in tight or uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
