Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food, including beverages and grab-and-go items.
  • Take customer orders for food and drinks.
  • Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system.
  • Assist in stocking and merchandising retail items and help with inventory management.
  • Ensure the cafeteria is adequately stocked to meet menu demands and report any shortages to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in cafeteria areas at all times.
  • Provide support to fellow cafeteria staff as needed.
  • Assist management with additional tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Experience in food production is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute across all operational areas.
  • Ability to multitask with effective organization and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional demeanor is expected.
  • Familiarity with TOAST POS software is advantageous.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.

The physical requirements described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
