Job Summary:

As a Mail Services Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing and distributing mail and packages, and ensuring the smooth operation of our mail services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and responsive service to customers, ensuring their mail and packages are processed and delivered efficiently.
  • Mail and Package Processing: Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items, and utilize handheld scanners to deliver packages and obtain proof of delivery.
  • Support Services: Aide personnel with packing needs, answer questions and concerns, and provide assistance with research and data entry.
  • Logistics and Operations: Maintain activity data in logs, prepare and process outbound courier/freight shipments, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of all operating spaces.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Interact with fellow employees in a professional and respectful manner, cross-train and backup other employees, and possess the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and communication skills
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in shipping/receiving preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, diplomatic, team player, and service-oriented
