About the Role

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Advisor to join our team. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Employer segment and working closely with the account team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Expertise: Serve as the clinical subject matter expert on the account team, providing guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Consulting Services: Analyze drug utilization patterns and trends for our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) clients, identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved health outcomes.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Develop and deliver quarterly and annual reporting to clients, in partnership with the account owner, to communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Clinical Program Development: Collaborate with internal teams and clinicians to develop and implement strategic clinical programs that meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients on CVS Health's clinical programs and provide guidance on how to optimize their benefit plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or Pharm D
  • Experience: 3+ years of managed care Pharmacist experience or 1 year of Managed Care Residency program
  • Licensure: Active pharmacist license that is in good standing
  • Skills: Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient analytical ability with effective listening and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience supporting PBM or health plan clients
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in various PC applications, including MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Interpersonal Skills: Superior written and organizational skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, and ability to set goals, prioritize, and meet deadlines
