**Job Summary**

Aventura Health Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping / Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
  • Dust mopping and damp mopping floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks and commodes, to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, stacking, and distributing linens and personal laundry.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, lobbies, sitting areas, office, dining areas, and all furniture to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Collecting trash from the units and disposing of it properly in an outside container.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings, and labels.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Adequate strength and endurance to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as loading and unloading washers and dryers.
  • Coordination necessary to fold clothing items and linen.
  • Color vision to ascertain stains and separate colored garments from white.
