Housekeeping / Laundry Aide Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team at Aventura at Terrace View. As a Housekeeping / Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
  • Dust mopping and damp mopping floors
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks and commodes
  • Responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, stacking, and distributing linens and personal laundry
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, lobbies, sitting areas, office, dining areas, and all furniture
  • Collecting trash from the units and for the proper disposal of the trash in an outside container

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings, and labels
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Adequate strength and endurance to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as loading and unloading washers and dryers; coordination necessary to fold clothing items and linen
  • Color vision to ascertain stains and separate colored garments from white
