About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of cranes and hoists to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and replacing worn-out components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on-site, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their material handling needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Document findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, using company-approved documentation tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry codes and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI.
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs., lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis, and lift up to 75 lbs. although not on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
