About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence Operations to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions to detect and remediate network issues, discover problems, provide insights, and protect devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop workflow frameworks using AI/ML, with result collection and visualization, monitoring tools
  • Creation and delivery of training materials
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Requirements
  • 8+ years of industry experience in machine learning techniques and data analytics
  • 4+ years of direct people leadership experience
  • 8+ years of experience in design, algorithms, and data structures, with expertise in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Golang
  • Proven track record in solving difficult real-world problems by applying machine learning techniques
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, NLP, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, Transformer models, or related areas
