Position Overview

The Cardiac Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality cardiac care. This position requires proficiency in echocardiography, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience or have completed an accredited echo program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure the ECHO Suite is ready for daily operations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Patient Interaction: Transport and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Conduct cardiac imaging techniques and examinations, adhering to quality control protocols.
  • Equipment Management: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and foster a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess basic medical terminology knowledge and be comfortable in a clinical environment. Basic computer skills are necessary for documentation and patient management.

Work Environment

This role involves medium physical demands, including standing and walking. The specialist must be available for on-call duties during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Patient Demographics
