We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at GPAC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all radioactive material licenses, performance assessment efforts, and RCRA Permits.
Responsibilities:
- Directs and develops the content and format for licensing and permitting submissions and amendments to regulatory authorities.
- Coordinates with senior management to advise on the development and implementation of licensing strategy, potential areas of concern, and new government/regulatory developments.
- Negotiates directly with licensing authorities regarding company filings.
- Directs and manages all licensing and permitting activities, processes, and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the nuclear industry, waste disposal, and/or regulatory oversight role.
- Demonstrated experience in solving complex regulatory issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in licensing and permitting, operations involving the storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel, and assessing public health and environmental impacts associated with Low-Level Radioactive Waste disposal.
What We Offer:
- An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
