Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position is responsible for executing routine maintenance activities, which encompass both preventative and corrective measures. The technician will troubleshoot minor issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and equipment repairs or replacements. Additionally, this role involves assisting with various projects, performing cosmetic repairs, and ensuring a tidy work environment. Adherence to safety regulations is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of lighting and other essential systems throughout the facility
  • Address maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
  • Oversee maintenance of pool facilities, if applicable
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace
  • Follow established safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in plumbing, electrical systems, and air conditioning maintenance. Relevant licenses and certifications are necessary, along with a valid driver's license. Physical abilities tests and color vision assessments may be part of the hiring process. A Level 4 Gaming License is essential.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical documents and respond effectively to inquiries. Proficiency in basic mathematical operations is expected. Strong problem-solving skills and physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders, are essential for success in this role.
