Job Overview

Position Summary

Act as the primary point of contact for the IT Department, addressing all system-related inquiries and

delivering prompt resolutions to staff members. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the banking environment and

exhibit the capability to diagnose and resolve issues related to both hardware and software

using remote management tools with minimal oversight. This role may involve assisting employees

either in person or via phone communication. If remote troubleshooting is insufficient, travel to the

employee's location may be necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in computer science and

exhibit advanced proficiency in computer operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to inquiries via phone and email from staff members.

2. Assist employees in resolving issues remotely.

3. Address more complex problems in person.

4. Document each IT support request in the ticketing system.

5. Maintain necessary documentation as required.

6. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

7. Serve as a technical representative on IT initiatives or specific IT domains, such as PC requisitions,

equipment inventory, new product launches, and equipment repair processes.

8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in installing, supporting, and troubleshooting hardware peripherals and providing desktop software assistance.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Entry-level position requiring a genuine interest and capability to work in the IT sector.

- Excellent analytical skills, self-motivation, and a focus on customer service are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with TCP/IP and DNS.

- Background in troubleshooting and resolving help desk inquiries.

- Familiarity with network connectivity and cabling issues.

- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining client hardware and software.
