Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Delegate tasks and targets to staff, and evaluate their performance to ensure high standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety procedures, including MSDS, equipment checklists, and BOL.
  • Supervise shift allocations and ensure the efficient use of warehouse staff.
  • Organize and conduct training activities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and safe operation of all warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other managers to achieve team goals and support new team members.
  • Drive initiatives that deliver business results and improve operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address operational issues, and provide solutions to improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, customer service, or 5+ years of experience in product distribution.
  • Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes for handling warehouse activities.
  • Working understanding of Warehouse Management System.
  • Excellent leadership and administration skills, with strong motivational and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and resolve crises.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.
  • Able to read and comprehend English to ensure safety and the safety of those working around you.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
