About the Job: As a Child Development Specialist at You Thrive Florida, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement programs that promote healthy growth and development in infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds. This includes developing curriculum, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to parents on how to support their child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive programs that address the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of children.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas where children may need additional support.
  • Collaborate with parents to create personalized plans that meet their child's unique needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in child development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective education program.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need to have a National CDA with Infant/Toddler Endorsement or FCCPC, as well as two years of experience in child education, care, and service or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
