Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in East Syracuse, NY. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as inspections and lubrications
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
