About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cottage Health. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our community.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and cognitive abilities, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to promote independence and quality of life.

This is an entry-level position, ideal for new graduates or professionals looking to transition into a healthcare setting. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as a confident and competent clinician.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in occupational therapy techniques, modalities, and body mechanics. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • A valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist (entry-level to 6 months)
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
