Junior Procurement Specialist

We are currently seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist for our operations. In this role, you will be essential in assisting Sager's Product Managers by managing various procurement, asset oversight, and operational responsibilities. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source products from approved suppliers to fulfill demand and sustain inventory levels.
• Plan and manage inventory for products of low to medium complexity.
• Proactively address backlogs with manufacturing partners to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Monitor and update supplier open order reports promptly.
• Perform basic purchase order modifications and maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with Product Managers to optimize inventory based on sales trends, forecasts, and customer requirements.
• Implement stock rotation protocols as per supplier agreements.
• Assist Product Managers in maintaining supplier part number information within the system.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Warehouse) to resolve issues requiring Product Management input.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant professional role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to excel in a team-oriented setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Capable of managing a high volume of transactions efficiently.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, highly organized, and adept at multitasking.
