Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department, including guest room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.
  • Lead the Housekeeping team to achieve high levels of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction, exceeding company standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure exceptional guest room quality and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to develop and implement training programs for Housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, including Front Desk, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping or related field, with a proven track record of leadership and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, laundry operations, and hotel safety protocols.
