Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with families to provide education on billing procedures
  • Gather payment details for tuition, copays, and additional charges
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Follow up on outstanding payments via email and phone communications
  • Facilitate the negotiation of payment arrangements with clients
  • Enforce collection policies effectively
  • Monitor accounts for overdue balances and process refunds when necessary
  • Collaborate with the billing team regarding third-party payments
  • Accurately apply cash receipts to accounts
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within the healthcare sector
  • Familiarity with medical billing practices is advantageous
  • Proficient in Windows applications and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Capability to manage confidential information responsibly
  • A high school diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred
