Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and enter/download data from clients and review for accuracy
  • File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
  • Prepare engagement letters and other correspondence with clients
  • Back-end processing such as printing, copying, filing, basic quality assurance, and delivery of tax returns
  • Operate accounting and/or tax software to record, store, and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • 8-10 years of full charge bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
  • Payroll experience is preferred
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of accounting work experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $50,000 - $80,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
