We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at MediLodge. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
  • Monitor building and equipment renovations, remodeling, or replacement projects done by contractors.
  • Assist in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
  • Inspect fire control equipment and sprinkler systems, documenting results.
  • Conduct weekly facility log entries, including domestic hot water temperature, generator checklist, monthly fire alarm system testing and sprinkler pressure.
  • Coordinate monthly fire drills, documenting results.
  • Inspect grounds and perform necessary maintenance, including lawn care.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year experience in building maintenance.
