Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Manager in a well-established community hospital
This facility provides comprehensive care for patients with various medical, surgical, telemetry, and progressive care needs. The Inpatient Unit consists of 18 patient rooms, including private and semi-private options, as well as two rooms designed for intensive care management while awaiting transfer to specialized facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the inpatient unit, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Manage patient admissions and care plans in accordance with best practices.
- Current RN license in Vermont or a compact state.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
- At least one year of experience in a nursing management role with proven leadership skills.
- Experience in telemetry nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Certification in Nursing Leadership is preferred.
