Well-established community hospital seeking a Nurse Manager for the Inpatient Unit
This facility accommodates patients with a variety of medical, surgical, telemetry, and progressive care needs. The Inpatient Bed Unit features a total of 18 patient rooms, which include private and semi-private options, as well as two rooms specifically designed for intensive care management while awaiting transfer to a higher level of care. The Nurse Manager will report directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO).
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a valid and active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or a compact state RN license in good standing.
- Possess an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a certificate from an accredited nursing program.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Have at least one (1) year of current experience in nursing management with proven leadership skills.
- Experience in telemetry is essential.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Certification in Nursing Leadership is preferred.
