Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at Avera St. Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce accurate and detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved program.
- Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Additional radiology certification beyond ARRT registration and certification, preferably in CT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, completed within 6 months of start date.
