Position: Senior Consulting Engineer

Overview: As a vital member of the Ansys Customer Excellence team, you will engage closely with clients to address real-world engineering challenges, integrate Ansys software into their operations, and contribute to business growth. Your expertise in Ansys products will be essential in delivering technical services and refining product features based on client feedback. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in creating innovative simulation solutions and broadening industry insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consulting initiatives that involve direct client interaction
  • Implement consulting projects to ensure value delivery and client satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for consulting services to enhance product innovation
  • Work alongside sales teams to secure consulting engagements
  • Create marketing materials derived from consulting experiences

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Expertise in Ansys software or comparable CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM tools
  • Experience in high-tech applications and the semiconductor sector
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional years of experience in an engineering software environment
  • Background in application engineering or customer support roles
  • Capability to engage with senior business leaders
  • Openness to travel up to 50% of the time
