We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Insights Training Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will assist the Health and Wellness Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program consistent with the students' needs and organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform duties under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director.
- In the absence of the Health and Wellness Director, serve in that capacity.
- Ensure doctor's orders are followed in the Wellness Center and the care of all patients as prescribed.
- Maintain charts on all patients and compile medical and dental records of terminated students.
- Notify residential personnel of released patients.
- Maintain a record of all admissions and dismissals.
- Compile various logs, records, and reports, such as wellness use, examinations, and medication use.
- Maintain a record of all calls to on-call medical personnel.
- Dispense prescribed medication.
- Assist with cursory examinations, sick call, and wellness care.
- Serve as on-call nurse when schedules.
- Work to ensure performance management standards are met.
- Ensure that required property (equipment) controls are adhered to.
- Maintain current knowledge and certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Ensure that a clean and safe health facility is operated at all times.
- Monitor area of responsibility to ensure timely and high-quality services.
- Work toward meeting performance management goals.
- Follow the CDSS Plan and Procedures daily.
- Comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Job Corps notices, and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas and comply with safety practices.
- Model appropriate employability skills for dress, language, and work habits.
- Continuously help students become more employable.
- Participate in PRH mandated staff training.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the individual's scope and capabilities.
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Experience: One year of related experience working with youth.
- License, certificate, credentials: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license to practice in Kentucky. Valid State Driver's License.
