Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to serve as a Cardiology Department Supervisor at Mount Sinai Health System. This role will oversee the secretarial and clerical functions of the department, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage payroll, attendance, and time records for cardiology staff.
  • Coordinate purchase requests and follow up with the purchasing department.
  • Maintain office inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Monitor and manage cardiology on-call schedules, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Provide complex secretarial support to department leaders, physicians, and fellows, including manuscript preparation, graphic presentations, and professional correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate physician schedules, handle confidential documents, and schedule meetings.
  • Answer phones, relay messages, and resolve problems or conflicts as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with additional medical assistant or medical secretary coursework; college graduate preferred.
  • 3 years of medical office experience.
