Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease. The PCT will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver prescribed treatments and ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
  • Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
  • Insert and remove patient access needles
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
  • Maintain and track inventory
  • Perform laboratory work

Requirements

No prior healthcare experience is required. We offer paid training and competitive pay, with a pay range from $19.00 to $29.07 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: Full-time, four 10-hour shifts; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
