Dialysis Technician

Fresenius Medical Care North America is a leading provider of kidney care services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team.
About the Role:As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. You will be responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with dialysis treatment, including setting up and operating hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the licensed nurse
- Assist with patient education and training on dialysis procedures and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and safety
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
