Job Purpose

The ADAS Design Senior Engineer is responsible for supporting technology development and leading the integration of ADAS hardware components/systems, including cameras, radar, and sensors. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coach junior designers and lead cross-functional discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop 3D models, 2D layouts, and drawings of automotive electrical components, including vision systems and radar.
  • Evaluate the feasibility, layout, cost, weight, and maintenance requirements of designs and applications.
  • Develop and propose new design guides to Technical Management, as necessary.
  • Manage development projects and schedules, coordinate with corollary departments and suppliers, and research new technologies and market trends.
  • Write and present technical reports.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant design experience.
  • Basic proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service focus and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to design for assembly and tolerance study.
Working Conditions
  • Commitment to work necessary hours, including overtime and flexible scheduling.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel may be required, approximately 5% of the time.
  • Office work may be split between on-site and remote work.
