About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional to join our team at OU Health - 700 NE 13th. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to make a difference in the lives of patients. You will work under general supervision, providing nursing care to a diverse range of patients with various health concerns. Your responsibilities will include taking charge of assigned patients, documenting their responses to medical treatments, and ensuring all changes in physician orders are noted.

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and provide high-quality care.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments.
  • Monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
  • Deliver patient care competently and interact with patients and family regarding care plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
  • Good working relationships maintenance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
