Job Description
">As a Pyschiatric Therapist at OU Health, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services to adult or pediatric patients who require mental health support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Delivering high-quality therapy sessions, either individually or in groups, to address patients' mental health concerns.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participating in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices and evidence-based treatments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">To succeed as a Pyschiatric Therapist at OU Health, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers.
  • A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in psychiatric or behavioral health care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of individual and group psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention techniques.
