Duties & Responsibilities of an AT&T Wireless Store Leader:

  • Oversee daily operations of an AT&T Authorized Retail Store.
  • Achieve sales targets and service performance standards.
  • Promote a positive culture for both employees and customers.
  • Manage inventory levels and minimize cash shrinkage.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing Sales Advocates.
  • Implement disciplinary actions for Sales Advocates as needed, in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to enhance sales and product knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with AT&T and company merchandising standards.
  • Adapt to work in various locations as business needs arise.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
  • Stay informed about competitive offers and provide market feedback to the Area Sales Leader.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Report to work consistently and punctually.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Store Managers typically work 40 hours per week, averaging 8 hours per day.

Qualifications for AT&T Wireless Store Leaders:

  • Minimum of two years of retail wireless management experience.
  • Three or more years of sales and/or customer service experience in telecommunications or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively use and teach others about wireless technology and services.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and retail systems.
