About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Patient Care
    • Interview patients and obtain vital signs and other relevant information as required by the department.
    • Record patient information in medical records.
    • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination.
  • Medical Imaging Support
    • Inventories, orders, and replenishes medical supplies and materials.
    • Schedules appointments, performs clinical tasks, and completes necessary forms.
    • Records lab values and treatment documentation as required by the department.
  • Customer Service and Teamwork
    • Practices customer service standards as defined by the Medical Center and specified department.
    • Anticipates customer needs, takes proactive steps to meet those needs, and resolves issues promptly.
    • Facilitates customer access to resources and maintains a clean, orderly, and functional work environment.
  • Team Commitment
    • Acts as an effective team member, flexible, cooperative, and willing to assist others.
    • Manages difficult situations constructively and seeks assistance when needed.
    • Takes accountability for own actions and adheres to Attendance Policy.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
      • Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California.
    • License and Certification
      • Basic Life Support certification required.
    • Additional Requirements
      • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information.
      • Must pass medical terminology test.
      • Ability to effectively present information, both verbally and written.
      • Demonstrated ability to use personal computer.
