Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Crockett, California. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills to explain procedures to patients, reducing anxiety and ensuring cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring optimal comfort and safety.
- Select and operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to capture high-quality images of internal organs.
- Record and document diagnostic data, maintaining accurate records of patient information and test results.
- Orient new hires and provide training to ensure seamless integration into the team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer Certification (CCI) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or equivalent.
- Nuchal Translucency Certification Certificate within 3 months of hire, for MFM clinics.
