Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of radiation oncology.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients according to written prescriptions and treatment plans.
- Explain treatment procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, including simulation and treatment documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
- Current ARRT-RTT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of radiation therapy principles, practices, and procedures, including simulation, imaging, and treatment procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A competitive hourly rate, starting at $85.57 per hour.
