About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Oak Dental Partners. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in providing top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist general dentists and specialty dentists in the operatory, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Greet and escort patients, taking radiographs as instructed by the provider and maintaining a clean and organized operatory area.
  • Stock materials, maintain equipment, and adhere to OSHA, federal, and state guidelines for sterilization and infection control.
  • Support front desk operations, schedule appointments, check in patients, collect and verify patient demographics, and retrieve charts.
  • Document treatment plans and other tasks in support of office operations.
Requirements
  • 0-5 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Vocational/Technical training or Associate's Degree.
  • Radiology certification and DPH Dental Assistant License.
  • Familiarity with dental software, email, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in taking radiographs.
  • Competent in infection control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Experience in treating patients with special healthcare needs, specifically those with cognitive and developmental deficits.
  • Ability to work with patients' parents, guardians, and caregivers.
