Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Service Assistant to join our team at Allisonville Nursery by Sullivan. As a Service Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to our sales associates, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist sales associates with moving and setting up products and displays
• Load customers' purchases into their vehicles, including heavy plants and bags of soil and mulch
• Maintain the nursery's indoor and outdoor spaces, including mowing grass, weeding, and operating a bobcat

Requirements:

• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to lift heavy objects with no assistance
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain

Work Environment:

Our nursery is a 5-acre facility with diverse ground types, requiring the ability to work in various settings. As a Service Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about educating and inspiring our guests to create their dream home and garden.

Classification and Schedule:

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends. Minimal time off will be granted during our busy season, which typically runs from late April to early June.
