Nursery Assistant

At Allisonville Nursery by Sullivan, we are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Service Assistant to join our team at our Fishers location.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional support to our sales associates in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with moving and setting up product and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store
- Deliver customer purchases to their vehicles, providing a high level of customer satisfaction
- Load cars with purchases, including heavy plants and bags of soil and mulch, demonstrating a strong ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain, while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction
- Perform inside and outside maintenance tasks, such as mowing grass, weeding, and more, to maintain a clean and well-maintained store and grounds
- Operate a bobcat, demonstrating a strong ability to learn and operate new equipment
- A friendly and approachable nature, with a strong ability to interact with customers and colleagues
- The ability to consistently lift heavy objects with no assistance, demonstrating a strong level of physical capability
- An attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
As a Service Assistant at Allisonville Nursery by Sullivan, you will work in a fast-paced environment, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. You will be required to work on a 5-acre nursery, with varied ground types, and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
Job Information:- Classification: Part-time
- Schedule: May be scheduled to work all hours, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends, with minimal time off granted during our busy season
- Regularity: Seasonal, with the possibility to continue through the year based on performance
